Weren't you going to move in with someone?

Mo Guanshan and I were talking about it, but he texted me the other day to let me know he was going to move in with some other people.

[He shrugs awkwardly and shoves his hands in his pockets.]

It was just an idea, anyway. I wasn't really expecting it to work out.

[He tilted his head a bit and stared at Hinata. He wasn't really believing that.]

But expected enough to tell me?

[Dude!!!! But he grimaces, feeling like he'd been caught in a lie.]

Well... I mean, it seemed like we got along pretty well. But he found two other people to split rent with, so it'd work out better for him. I don't know them, so... moving in with one guy I know fairly well is okay, but two other total strangers...?

[He shakes his head, shoving his hands deeper into his pockets.]

It seems like it'd be weird.

It would be. I would feel really awkward trying to live with people I didn't know at all. It would be really uncomfortable.

[He pauses as if waiting for Hinata to make a point.]

[Pause.]

This is one of the places I was checking out before he texted me, though. Two bedrooms with a shared kitchen and bathroom... they're even soundproofed. I don't know about your cabin, but I can hear everyone who walks by when I'm inside.

It can be a little noisy.

[He paused again for a moment but then shifted himself to lean a bit forward, almost uncomfortably close.]

Did you need a roommate?

[He manages to hold his ground, though he does lean back a little to try to bring back some of the distance.]

Were... you still interested?

It still makes the most sense, though I'm a little hurt that I'm your last resort.

[He sighs with some annoyance and sags back down to the bench, crossing his arms.]

I haven't even asked anyone else. I guess I just thought... I don't know. I didn't think it would hurt your feelings so much when I brought it up before. Sorry.
